Fishing has been a lifelong passion for me. I started fishing in the Pacific Northwest back in 1984 — first in lakes and rivers, then moving out to the saltwater of Westport, Sekiu, and the Puget Sound. My time stationed at Fort Lewis while serving in the Army deepened my love for the region and its incredible fisheries.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of chasing nearly everything these waters have to offer — from tuna and halibut offshore, to rockfish, lingcod, and salmon along the coast, and even squid fishing in Puget Sound. Each fishery is unique, and what I enjoy most is sharing those experiences — seeing a new angler light up when they catch their first fish, or watching a seasoned fisherman grin as they reel in a trophy catch.
Beyond fishing, I’m also an avid cook and love preparing meals from the day’s catch. I often share recipes and cooking tips with guests, because to me, fishing isn’t just about the fight on the line — it’s about enjoying the full experience, from water to table.
I live in Gig Harbor, Washington, with my wife, Jamie, and our children. Family, fishing, and food are at the heart of everything I do, and I take pride in making every charter feel like a day on the water with friends.
